Baylor (25-21) is 5-5 in its last 10 games after a 16-12 victory at No. 18 Texas A&M in Sunday's series finale. The Bears are 6-11 this season away from Baylor Ballpark, including a 5-7 mark on opponents' home fields. Baylor is unranked in all four major polls.
TCU (34-10) has won six straight and 14 of its last 15 after sweeping San Diego State in a three-game series at home over the weekend. The Horned Frogs are 21-1 at home this season; the lone blemish was a 5-0 loss April 19 against Brigham Young. TCU is ranked 23rd nationally in this week's Baseball America Top 25. The Horned Frogs also are ranked 27th by Collegiate Baseball.
