Softball Opener at NCAA Pushed Back

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. --- Due to heavy rain in the Long Island area, Baylor softball's NCAA Championship opener against Albany has been pushed back one hour to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at Hofstra Softball Stadium. With more rain expected throughout the day, additional schedule changes could be possible.
Baylor enters the NCAA Championship as the No. 8 overall seed and is playing in the Hempstead regional with the Great Danes, Hofstra and Harvard.
