1. Discuss what you have done during the summer to help prepare you for the upcoming season.

During this summer, I have been working out in the weight room as well as working on my agility and speed training. I've been trying to get in as many scrimmaging and side games as I can. I was here for both sessions of summer school, so it helped me a lot to be here. I have trained and pushed myself with a number of the team members.

2. As you begin your senior season, discuss what it has meant to attend Baylor for the past three years.

Throughout my time at Baylor, being here has meant a lot to me. I have gained a great amount of close friendships; but, I have gained a great respect for not only the players and coaches, but the other talented and great athletes throughout campus. I have been able to play with and play against some amazing players throughout the Big 12 and on the U-21 National team. I have grown a lot throughout my time here as a player and a person. I believe the learning experience at Baylor has meant the most to me. I've learned to push myself and the others around me when tough situations occur and to never give up.

3. After making the Big 12 Championship for the first time since 2001, talk a little bit about some of the goals of the team as you head into this year.

Since the Big 12 Championship, I definitely think the mentality of the team has changed tremendously. I believe the team as a whole finally realizes we are truly capable of accomplishing. Last year's appearance at the Big 12 Championship was just the beginning of what the 2007 Baylor soccer team has to offer. The NCAA is definitely the goal we would like to reach the most.

4. Discuss your role as a senior leader as you head into your final year at Baylor.

Being a senior, a goalkeeper, and having the strong/competitive personality that I do, I think my role as a senior leader will help the team. All the seniors have their own role and their own talents they bring to the team. I believe this is what is going to lead us to victory this season. By having the seniors come together and share a common goal. Losing or tying is just not acceptable. The returning underclassmen know how much we as seniors and as a team want to get into the NCAA tournament this season and I believe they will respect the type of mentality we are going to be bringing to the team this year. As for the new freshman, I think that they will respect us for what we have been through and what we are trying to accomplish. This season will be the turning point for Baylor soccer and I know the incoming freshman will help us achieve our goals as they are very talented players.

5. What has been the highlight of your summer so far?

My highlight during the summer was getting married to Chris Noah a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and of course working the Baylor soccer camps.
