The Baylor men's golf team used a third-round score of 298 to move up one spot to fifth at the 2008 Big 12 Men's Golf Championships on Saturday at Whispering Pines Golf Club.
Oklahoma State extended its lead to 16 shots over Texas Tech with a third-round 283 to put the Cowboys at 14-under par for the tournament. Oklahoma State's Kevin Tway holds the individual lead at 6-under par.
Colton Williams remains at even-par for the tournament following a third-round 72 on Saturday. He is tied for eighth overall in the tournament. Bill Allcorn also shot 72 in the third-round to finish in a tie for 17th overall.
Wes Williams carded 74 on Saturday to move to 14-over par in a tie for 36th place, while Jeff Gerlich shot 83 to fall to 14-over par for the tournament in a tie for 40th overall. Cody Paladino carded an 80 on Saturday to tie for 55th in the tournament.
Play will continue on Sunday in the final round of the 2008 Big 12 Men's Golf Championships. Live scoring can be found at www.GolfStat.com.
