What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Getting to register for classes super early.

Favorite sport other than your own?
Tetherball

What is your nickname on the team and why?
I had some people call me Wikipedia for a short period of time, not particularly a nickname, but it was because I would always have some random fact relevant to just about any situation.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
Sprinter, their races are done much faster than mine.

What is the most unique item in your locker?

What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice?
Accidentally diving head-first into a tree in the trails. I tripped on a root and seriously went airborne down a hill into a tree.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Lance Armstrong

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Having the race of my life at Big 12 Championships my sophomore year of cross country

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
My very first day of practice at Baylor was a long run, and afterward I decided to get in the pool to cool down a little. At that time I needed the aid of contacts to see, which means that opening one's eyes underwater is less than comfortable, and I had no goggles. This in mind, I started to swim a lap at the Marina pool with my eyes closed.not very smart. The pool made an L shape and I swam directly into the corner of the L. Suffice it to say, my head had a rather large gash suddenly appear. At the time I was a freshman, so imagine the embarrassment I felt when I had to shave my head bald and wear a giant band aid on my forehead with classes starting the next day.

Having a broken back during my sophomore year.

My momma

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
I felt that I was coming to a school where I wasn't just going to be a number in a vast student body. The atmosphere felt much different here than any other school that I visited.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Time management is key. You have to figure out what works in your schedule and what doesn't. You don't have all the time in the world to be Superman; sometimes it takes sacrifice.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
Being part of a team

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Finding out the perfect balance is key. Sometimes we are to think of ourselves only as athletes, but we have so many other things to juggle on top of that. You have to realize that there are certain sacrifices that have to be made. Being 100% of an athlete won't make your grades, being 100% of a student won't make you a great athlete, and being 100% of a social being will give you neither of the previous two.
