Soccer Returns To Practice

The Baylor soccer team is back in action after reporting back for spring practice and workouts this past week.

"I think the girls enjoyed their break and are ready to back into action," head coach Marci Jobson said. "We are excited about the strides we made last fall and are really looking forward to making even more progress this spring."

The Bears are riding momentum this off-season after wrapping up 2008 with hard fought 0-0 tie at No. 8 Texas. Baylor will return 19 players off of the 2008 squad.

The spring schedule will get underway on Feb. 28 with the Austin Showcase. The Bears will face SMU at 10:00 a.m. and then take on North Texas at 4:00 p.m.
