MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Iowa State leads the all-time series 5-4, including a 3-2 advantage in games played at Ames.
• Baylor is 9-31 against Big 12 North teams during the league's existence.
• Baylor is 47-40-6 all-time on the third weekend of October. The Bears are 202-201-21 all-time in the month of October.

• Baylor has lost 13 consecutive Big 12 road games. The Bears' last conference road game was a 34-31, triple-overtime victory at Colorado in 2006.
• Baylor has lost 21 consecutive games when trailing at halftime. The last time Baylor overcame a halftime deficit was Oct. 21, 2006, against Kansas when the Bears overcame a 35-17 halftime deficit for a 36-35 victory.

• LB Joe Pawelek started his 39th consecutive game, the longest streak by a Baylor player since Maurice Lane's school-record, 45-game streak that ran from 2002 to 2005.
• RG James Barnard, FS Jordan Lake and C J.D. Walton all started their 30th consecutive games.
• LB Antonio Jones started his 18th consecutive game.
• WR David Gettis started his 14th consecutive game.
• IR Kendall Wright has caught at least one pass in each game of his career, an 18-game streak.
• TE Justin Akers has caught at least one pass in eight consecutive games.
• WR Ernest Smith's 59-yard reception in the first quarter was the longest of his career.
• Smith produced the first 100-yard receiving game of his career.
• Smith reached the 100-yard plateau during the first half. He is the first Baylor player with at least 100 yards receiving in a half since Dominique Zeigler accomplished the feat against Texas A&M in 2006 (Zeigler had 166 yards in the first half vs. Texas A&M).
• CB Tim Atchison's second-quarter interception was the first of his career.
