PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Taylor Ormond continued her hot streak through the consolation bracket, and Lenka Broosova teamed up with Csilla Borsanyi for a victory in doubles action at the ITA Riviera All-American on Thursday.

Ormond defeated North Carolina's Sophie Grabinski in straight sets 6-4, 7-6(3) in singles action. Broosova also played in singles, falling to Washington's Venise Chan in straight sets 7-5, 7-6(4).

Broosova bounced back in doubles with Borsanyi for a victory over Princeton's Taylor Marable and Hilary Bartlett 8-3. The match was the first of the season for the duo, and first since the doubles Final Four in last spring's postseason play.

"Overall the ladies played some good tennis today," head coach Joey Scrivano said. "Taylor's game is coming together nicely, and it's great to see Csilla and Lenka playing well together after such a long break. Unfortunately Lenka ran into a player that hit the big shots at the right times. I'm encouraged to see the way her game is developing and now she just needs more tournament match play to put all the pieces together."

Baylor will continue play at the ITA All-American on Friday in Pacific Palisades, Calif., with singles and doubles play.
