MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Baylor and Texas Tech met for the 68th time, but Saturday was the first time the game was played at a neutral site.
• Texas Tech leads the all-time series 35-32-1.
• Baylor has lost 14 straight games to Texas Tech. The last time the Bears beat the Red Raiders was a 9-7 victory in 1995.
• Saturday was the final game for 21 Baylor seniors, including All-American Joe Pawelek and All-Big 12 honorees Jordan Lake, Jason Lamb and J.D. Walton.
• The attendance (71,964) was the largest in the 68-year history of the Baylor vs. Texas Tech series.
• Baylor played its first-ever game in Arlington and now holds a 41-46-5 record in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

• Baylor has not scored a first-quarter touchdown in seven of its eight Big 12 games this season. BU has scored only four first-half touchdowns in Big 12 play this season.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• LB Joe Pawelek tied a school record by starting his 45th consecutive game. Maurice Lane also had a 45-game streak that ran from 2002 to 2005.
• RG James Barnard, FS Jordan Lake and C J.D. Walton all started their 36th consecutive games.
• LB Antonio Jones started his 24th consecutive game.
• IR Kendall Wright has caught at least one pass in each game of his career, a 24-game streak.
• Wright's 65 receptions this season rank third most in a single season in school history.
• TE Justin Akers has caught at least one pass in 15 consecutive games.
• Gettis has caught at least one pass in 13 consecutive games.
• Gettis' 57-yard reception in the first quarter was the second longest by a Bear this season.
• QB Blake Szymanski's 1-yard rushing TD was the fourth of his career and first since a 39-yard TD run at Buffalo on Sept. 22, 2007.
• Lake recorded the ninth forced fumble of his career in the third quarter.
• PK Dary Stone set a new career long with a 40-yard field goal in the third quarter. His previous best was 35 yards.
• Gettis now ranks seventh in Baylor school history with 1,555 career receiving yards. Wright ranks 12th with 1,365 receiving yards.
• Gettis (116) and Wright (115) rank eighth and ninth, respectively, on Baylor's career receptions list.
• Pawelek has seven-plus tackles in 22 of his last 24 games.
• Pawelek recorded 12 tackles for the 17th double-digit total of his career and the fourth this season.
• Pawelek's 422 career tackles are the most of any active player in Division I FBS.
• KOR Terrance Williams moved into third place on the school's single-season kickoff return yards list with 746 yards. He also moved into seventh place with 625 kickoff return yards in a single season.
• RB Jay Finley moved into 18th place all-time at Baylor with 1,434 career rushing yards.
• Szymanski moved into seventh place on Baylor's career passing yards list with 4,162. He also moved into fifth place with 678 attempts, third place with 387 completions and eighth with 4,221 total yards.
