Softball Hosts Alumni Game

The Baylor Softball team has announced it will hold its annual Alumni and Meet the Team game on Saturday, Sept. 19th beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The 2009-10 team will scrimmage each other for one hour followed by a one hour game against the alumni. A luncheon will follow at noon, following which, participants can head to Floyd Casey Stadium to support the Baylor football team as they take on Connecticut at 4:00 p.m.
Players interested in attending the Alumni game need to RSVP to Jacqui Haddock, at 254-710-4659 or email her at Jacqui_haddock@baylor.edu.
In preparation for the 2010 season, the team also announced its 2009 fall schedule. The schedule opens with the Eco Challenge on Aug. 29 as players will participate in running, biking, canoeing, rock climbing and swimming.
In addition, the schedule includes two tournaments, as the teams will take part in the Baylor Fall Softball Tournament on Sept. 25 - 26, and the Spring Klein Tournament on Oct. 3-4. More information on opponents and times will be made available in the fall.
