ABC and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday that Saturday's football game between Baylor and Wake Forest would be shown to nine percent of the nation with kickoff set for 2:36 p.m. (Central) in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The game is being televised from the ACC's television package with ABC, not out of the Big 12's agreement.
In Central Texas, KXXV (channel 25) will air Baylor's first appearance on ABC since the 1997 season-finale at Oklahoma State. In addition, ABC's DT stations in Dallas-Fort Worth (WFAA 8.2), Houston (KTRK 13.2), San Antonio (KSAT 12.2), Austin (KVUE 24.2) and Tyler (KLTV 7.2) are scheduled to carry Saturday's game.
ABC affiliates in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and part of South Carolina will also receive the game, according to ABC. In addition, the game will be available on ESPN's Game Plan package and ESPN360.
Previously, the game was also scheduled for a mirror telecast on ESPN2, according to the ACC, however, a clause in the ESPN contract with the Big Ten states that regionally televised Big Ten games must be shown nationally on ESPN 2 outside that conference's footprint.
Fans should check with their local cable provider to make sure that the Baylor-Wake game will be available on their cable system. Further updates will be available on baylorbears.com.
