The Baylor soccer team (3-1-2) will play its first game in nine days as it takes on UTSA (3-4-0) Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the UTSA Recreational Complex. The Bears lead the all-time series, 2-0-1, including a 3-0 win last season in Waco.

"This game is our last chance to get ready for conference next weekend," head coach Marci Jobson said. "We had a longer layoff than I would have liked, but we will be fresh and we need to put together a solid performance."

The Bears are coming off a 2-1 loss at North Texas on Sept. 11. Baylor is led by freshman Hanna Gilmore's three goals and three assists, as eight of the team's 12 goals this season have been scored by freshmen. Baylor has outshot each of its six opponents thus far, and hold a 118-44 shot advantage.

The Roadrunners split their matches last weekend, defeating Utah State (1-0) and falling to Rice (2-0) last weekend. UTSA is 0-2 against the Big 12 so far this season, dropping games to Texas Tech (5-0) and Texas A&M (3-0).

The game against UTSA will be the last non-conference game before Big 12 season begins, as the Bears will host No. 17 Texas A&M and Texas next Friday and Sunday, respectively.
