Softball Opens Fall With Four Games

The Baylor softball team will host a pair of doubleheaders to open the fall season, hosting Temple College and McLennan CC this weekend at Getterman Stadium. The Lady Bears will play Temple College in a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m. Friday, and then face McLennan CC in a pair of games beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
"It will be nice to go out and see what this team looks like in real games," head coach Glenn Moore said. "We have been working very hard, and I like what I have seen, but I need to see how the players respond in a game."
The 2009-10 Lady Bears return 11 letterwinners and welcome seven newcomers to a team that finished 40-22 in 2009 and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the third time in five years.
Admission is free for all fans.
