No. 8 EQ Hosts Weekend Competitions

The No. 8 Baylor equestrian team (3-4) will begin its spring season with three competitions in two days, hosting Delaware State (0-5) and Tennessee-Martin (1-5) beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday and SMU (Hunter Seat only) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.Delaware State will be looking for its first victory, while Tennessee-Martin is receiving votes in the latest poll.
Friday's competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. with all teams competing in Fences, followed by Reining competitions between UT-Martin/Delaware State and Delaware State/Baylor. Following Reining, all teams will compete in Horsemanship and Flat events before wrapping up with Reining between UT-Martin and Baylor.
Saturday's competition against SMU will be Hunter Seat only and begin with Flat and then move to Jumping starting at 10:00 a.m.
Admission is free to the public.
