The No. 8 Baylor equestrian team (4-3) remains home for its third-straight competition, taking on No. 2 Texas A&M (4-0) on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
"We were so close last weekend against No. 1 Georgia," head coach Ellen White said. "I think we can take all of the positives from that and use them this week. We are continuing to improve and I like the direction we are heading."
The Bears are coming off a tough 11-8 loss to the No. 1 Bulldogs last Friday. The squads were tied heading into the last event, but Georgia took home a three-point win in the final event for the victory. Baylor's Hunter Seat team remains undefeated on the year with a 5-0-2 record.
The Aggies defeated No. 3 Auburn, 11-8 last Saturday in College Station behind a 7-2 performance by their Western squad.
A&M leads the all-time series, 7-4, but the Bears won the last matchup 9-6 on March 27, 2010 to win the Big 12 Championship.
The competition will begin with fences before moving on to horsemanship and flat, and will end with reining.
