NORMAN, Okla. - The final two games of Baylor baseball's three-game series at Oklahoma, which were scheduled to be played on Sunday afternoon, have been cancelled due to Saturday's snow storm.Snow was covering the tarp on the field at L. Dale Mitchell Park when the teams arrived on Sunday, and there were patches of ice all over the stadium.
The second game between the Bears and Sooners was suspended on Friday night with Baylor leading 5-0 in the bottom of the third inning, but because the trailing team didn't get five full innings at bat, the game was cancelled and statistics will not count.
Oklahoma won the first game of the series, 7-6, on Friday afternoon. Baylor returns to action Wednesday when it hosts UTSA at Baylor Ballpark, and the Bears resume Big 12 play when Kansas comes to Waco on Friday.
