Burgers on the Berm Set for Friday

WACO, Texas - Baylor baseball will hold its annual Burgers on the Berm event at 6 p.m. Friday at Baylor Ballpark. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated and all proceeds go directly to support the Baylor Baseball Diamond Girls.
An autumn tradition on the Baylor campus, Burgers on the Berm is hosted by the Heart of the Order. The event gives fans a chance to meet the players and get a glimpse of the 2011 team during an intrasquad scrimmage.
The 2011 Bears welcome back 19 letterwinners from a squad that went 36-24 and finished as the runner-up in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional.

Baylor will also play an intrasquad scrimmage at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday. Ross Speed, Tom Filip, Sean Spicer, Miles Landry, Josh Michalec and Max Garner are scheduled to pitch in Saturday's intrasquad. Veterans Logan Verrett and Jon Ringenberg are being held out of pitching during the fall in order to train more extensively.
