WACO, Texas -Baylor's Nov. 5 Homecoming football game against Missouri will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and be televised live nationally by FSN, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.
The game against the Tigers will be Baylor's ninth consecutive nationally televised Big 12 conference game, dating back to last season, and its seventh televised game this season (two on ABC, one on ESPN, one on FX, two on FSN, one on FOX Sports Southwest).
Baylor is among the first five schools nationally ever to celebrate homecoming. The Bears held their first homecoming in 1909 and it became an annual event in 1930 when the name was changed from "Good Will Week" to Homecoming. Baylor's Homecoming Parade is the largest in the nation. Baylor is 36-39-4 all-time in Homecoming games, including an 0-2 mark against Missouri.
Baylor is 4-2 on the season (1-2 in Big 12 play) and travels to Stillwater, Okla., to face No. 3 Oklahoma State (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) Saturday at 2:30 p.m. That game will be televised live nationally on ABC and ESPN2.
Missouri is 3-4 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play this season. The Tigers travel to College Station, Texas, to play No. 16 Texas A&M at 11 a.m. Saturday.
