WACO, Texas - Riding a five-match win streak, Baylor's ninth-ranked women's tennis team will travel to face No. 11 Clemson on Wednesday at 12 p.m. CT, and then return home to take on No. 38 Nebraska on Friday at 5 p.m. and Iowa State on Sunday at 1 p.m. Baylor's match against Iowa State will also serve as Senior Day in recognition of Karolina Filipiak, Taylor Ormond and Jelena Stanivuk.

After a 2-2 stretch earlier this season, Baylor (15-3, 5-1) has once again established itself among the elite teams in the Big 12 and the NCAA. The Lady Bears have won each of their last five matches, including wins over No. 18 Oklahoma, No. 23 Texas and No. 33 SMU.

Baylor's senior class of Filipiak, Stanivuk and Ormond has had a big impact from the No. 4-6 positions during the midseason run. Filipiak, who is second on the team with 23 wins and ranks 124th, is 5-0 in singles and 3-2 in doubles during the streak. Stanivuk and Ormond, who have each battled back from injury this season, have each gotten back into form as well. During the recent win streak, Stanivuk is 4-1 in the singles and 3-2 in doubles, while Ormond is 2-1 in singles and 4-1 in doubles.

While the senior class has found its groove, a trio of juniors in the lineup's top three spots has been nearly unbeatable during the streak. In the last five matches, Sona Novakova, Nina Secerbegovic, and Diana Nakic have combined for a 13-1 record, losing just three sets along the way. Secerbegovic enters the week with a 13-match singles win streak with just two set-losses, while Nakic hasn't lost a single set in her seven-match singles win streak.

The Lady Bears will travel to Clemson, S.C., to take on the Tigers (17-5), who are fresh off sweeps of ACC foes Boston College and Maryland. Baylor is 1-2 all-time against Clemson, but the teams haven't faced each other since a 4-0 Baylor win on Feb. 12, 2005.

Clemson is led by 10th-ranked junior Josipa Bek, who has won each of her last seven matches. Bek and Keri Wong combine to form the nation's No. 1-ranked doubles tandem, sporting a 25-6 overall mark.

After traveling to the east coast, the Lady Bears will return to the Baylor Tennis Center for two Big 12 matches on the weekend. Friday, Baylor will host Nebraska, before taking on Iowa State on Sunday afternoon.

The BU-NU matchup will feature two teams tied at the top of the Big 12 standings, as Nebraska will bring a 16-3 overall mark, including a 4-1 record in league play. Baylor is 17-1 all-time against the Huskers, with the lone loss coming in the first-ever meeting.

The Huskers are led by Madeleine Geibert and Patricia Veresova at the top of their lineup. Geibert has compiled a 13-5 mark, while Veresova leads the team with a 16-3 mark, including a 13-0 record at No. 2.

On Sunday, Baylor will host Iowa State in a match that will precede the Lady Bear's Senior Recognition ceremony. BU is 15-0 all-time against the Cyclones, losing just a total of eight points in the series.

ISU enters the week with a 10-10 record, including 1-5 mark in the Big 12. The Cylcones will play at Texas Tech on Friday night, before traveling to Waco to take on the Lady Bears.
