The Baylor University Athletic Performance team will host its fourth annual strength and conditioning clinic on Saturday, June 25th, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Simpson Athletic and Academic Center at Baylor's Highers Athletics Complex.

The clinic, which is open to all coaches, will feature Mike Carter, Head Strength and Conditioning/Offensive Line coach at Allen (Texas) High School, as well as members of Kaz Kazadi's Baylor Athletic Performance Team. While at Allen, Carter was a member of a 2008 state championship team and received Samson's Strength Coach of the Year. He has also coached at Garland and North Garland, winning a state crown at Garland in 1999.

This year's clinic will feature a hands-on morning session covering warm-up, movement, power and strength training methods for a wide variety of athletes which will also afford clinic attendees the opportunity to interact informally with the Bears' staff.

Kazadi, Baylor's fourth-year head football strength and conditioning coach, will be joined Directors of Athletic Performance Anne Tamporello, Chris Ruf, Charlie Melton, Jeremy Heffner and Andrew Althoff, Associate Director of Athletic Performance Adam Davis, Assistant Directors of Athletic Performance Jeremy Weeks and Keith Belton, as well as graduate assistant Bryce Linn.

Cost of attendance, which includes lunch sponsored by Hammer Strength and a t-shirt, is $35 per coach or $30 per coach with two of more coaches attending provided the registration is received by June 17. After May 17, the registration fee increases to $45 per coach or $40 per coach if two or more individuals attend the clinic from the same staff.
