STORY LINES
• Two weeks after defeating defending Rose Bowl champion and 14th-ranked TCU in the season opener, No. 19/24 Baylor (1-0) continues its three-game homestand when it hosts Stephen F. Austin. Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CDT.
• Saturday will mark only the fourth series meeting and the first in nearly 64 years (last was Sept. 19, 1947). Baylor leads the series, 3-0, and has held the Lumberjacks scoreless in the three previous meetings (153-0).
• Baylor is ranked in both the latest AP and USA €ˆTODAY Coaches Top 25 polls for the first time since the week of Oct. 31, 2010, when it was No. 22 in both polls. Baylor is 1-1 as a ranked team in the Art Briles era.
• Saturday will be Baylor's first home game as a ranked team since Nov. 16, 1991 (No. 20, a 31-24 loss to Texas €ˆTech), and its first non-conference game as a ranked team since Sept. 21, 1991 (No. 14, a 47-21 win over Missouri).
• QB €ˆRobert Griffin III's Heisman Trophy campaign received national attention during Baylor's 50-48 upset win of TCU as he threw for 359 yards and a career-high five TDs. RG3 earned numerous national player of the week honors for his performance.
• IR Kendall Wright, who has a catch in all 38 career games, needs 122 receiving yards to become Baylor's career leader. He also needs 104 yards to become the sixth player in school history with at least 3,000 career total yards. Baylor's all-time receptions leader with 206 catches, Wright is the only player in school history with 200+ career receptions.
• Wright has 18 career TD catches and needs one more to tie the school record shared by Lawrence €ˆElkins and Melvin Bonner.
• In 29 career games, RG3 has accounted for 51 plays of 30+ yards, including 28 for touchdowns (24 pass, four run). In addition, Griffin III has tossed 16 passes of 50+ yards with nine going for touchdowns, and 30 passes of 40+ yards (15 TDs).

RANKINGS NOTE
After posting a 50-48 upset win over No. 14 TCU in its season opener, Baylor debuted at No. 20 in the AP Top 25 poll released Tue., Sept. 6. Baylor narrowly missed breaking into the USA TODAY Coaches Poll, receiving 117 votes -- tops among those not ranked in the Top 25.

Despite last week's open date, Baylor moved up to No. 19 in the latest AP Top 25, marking its highest ranking since the week of Oct. 14, 1991, when it was ranked No. 16. The Bears also cracked the USA €ˆTODAY Coaches Top 25 for the first time this season, debuting at No. 24 -- their highest ranking in the poll since the week of Oct. 31, 2010 (No. 22).

Baylor is ranked in the AP Top 25 for the second straight season. In 2010, Baylor snapped its 17-year ranking drought, earning a No. 25 ranking Oct. 24, 2010, and later moved up to No. 22 the following week. record as ranked team

Baylor is 70-39-2 all-time as a ranked team, including a 20-7-0 record against non-conference opponents.

Saturday will mark Baylor's first non-conference game as a ranked team since Sept. 11, 1993 (ranked 24th) -- a 45-21 loss at No. 10 Colorado -- and its first home game as a ranked team since Nov. 16, 1991 (ranked 20th) -- a 31-24 loss to Texas Tech.

RG3 BATTLE-TESTED IN NON-CONFERENCE PLAY
Heisman Trophy candidate Robert Griffin III has posted rather impressive passing numbers in 13 non-conference games (including the 2010 Texas €ˆBowl). Griffin owns an astounding 12.5 TD-INT ratio, tossing 25 TDs and only two INTs. Griffin III is 218-of-342 (63.7 percent) for 2,873 yards against non-conference foes.

By comparison, RG3 is 312-of-475 (65.7 percent) for 3,559 yards, 21 TDs and nine INTs in 16 career Big 12 games.

AIR WRIGHT
In Baylor's season-opening win over TCU, Kendall Wright completed two passes for 55 yards -- one for a 40-yard touchdown to WR €ˆTerrance €ˆWilliams and a third-down completion to QB €ˆRobert Griffin III to continue the eventual game-winning drive.

Wright has completed 4-of-11 passes for 114 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in his career. He has completed four straight passes after beginning his career 0-of-7 with two picks.

WRIGHT CLOSING IN ON RECEIVING TRIFECTA
Senior IR Kendall Wright owns the Baylor record for career receptions (206) and is the only player in school history with 200+ career receptions. Wright, who ranks third in school history with 2,530 receiving yards, needs 122 yards to become Baylor's career leader.

Wright also ranks third with 18 career touchdown receptions. He needs two TD catches to become Baylor's all-time leader. The record (19) is currently shared by Lawrence €ˆElkins and Melvin Bonner.
