Men's Golf Leads after Two Rounds in Hawai'i

Baylor (-9; 287-280=567) has a three-stroke lead on second place UC Irvine (-6; 286-284=570). East Tennessee State (-5; 286-285=571), North Carolina State (-5; 284-287=571) and Georgia Southern (-1; 583-292=575) round out the top five going into Wednesday's final round at the par-72, 7,223-yard course.
Mikkel Bjerch-Andresen's shot a 6-under par 66 to catapult him from a tie for 24th place after round one to a tie for second place heading to the final round. Bjerch-Andresen (-5; 73-66=139), whose second-round 66 was two strokes better than anyone else in Tuesday's 79-player field, is tied for second place with North Carolina State's Mitch Sutton (-5; 71+68=139) and Xavier's Korey Ward (68+71=139). The trio is two strokes behind the individual leader, North Carolina State's Albin Choi (-7; 69-68=137).
Filippo Zucchetti (-3; 72-69=141) also made a significant jump, moving up 12 spots to a share of seventh place. Zucchetti and Bjerch-Andresen recorded two of the tournament's six rounds below 70 on Tuesday. Kyle Jones (-1; 71-72=143) is tied for 12th place, Niclas Mansson (E; 71-73=144) is tied for 17th place and Matthew Seligmann (+5; 73-76=149) is tied for 40th place.
Wednesday's final round is scheduled for a shotgun start at noon CT. Bjerch-Andresen and Zucchetti will start on the first hole, while Jones, Mansson and Seligmann will begin on holes three, four and five, respectively. Live scoring is available through www.GolfStat.com.
