WACO, Texas - Baylor's Friday baseball game against Kansas has been moved to 3:05 p.m. to avoid a conflict with the Baylor men's basketball team's Sweet 16 game against Xavier, which is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. The baseball game was originally scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
Friday's game was also scheduled to be the first of two Dogtopia Bark in the Park events at Baylor Ballpark this season, but Bark in the Park has now been moved to Sunday when the Bears take on Kansas in the series finale at 1:05 p.m. The second Bark in the Park game is still scheduled for April 11 against Louisiana-Monroe. Baylor (14-7, 3-0 Big 12) is coming off a three-game sweep of Texas Tech to open Big 12 play - its first 3-0 start to Big 12 play since sweeping No. 1-ranked Texas in 2005. The Bears' sweep of Tech helped them move back into the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 rankings at No. 27.
Saturday's game against Kansas remains scheduled for 3:05 p.m. and Sunday's series finale is still slated for 1:05 p.m. Before hosting Kansas, Baylor has a game at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sam Houston State.
