• Baylor has now won eight consecutive games overall, the second-longest streak nationally (TCU 10).
• Baylor's eight straight wins is tied for the third-longest win streak in program history.
• Baylor has also won nine consecutive home games, tied for the third-longest active streak nationally (Northern Illinois 16, Michigan 10).
• Baylor's nine straight home wins ties the Floyd Casey Stadium all-time record.
• Baylor has won all four all-time meetings with Sam Houston State, all coming in Waco.

• With DT Trevor Clemons-Valdez's fumble recovery in the third quarter, Baylor improved its forced-turnover streak to 15 consecutive games.
• Baylor has now scored 30-plus points in eight consecutive games, tied for the fourth-longest active streak nationally.
• The Bears have also scored over 40 points in six consecutive games.
• Baylor outscored Sam Houston State 38-3 in the second half.
• Baylor posted 544 yards of offense, its eighth consecutive game with more than 500.
• With four forced turnovers Saturday, Baylor has forced at least two turnovers in seven consecutive games, and at least three in six of the last seven. The Bears have 25 total turnovers in the last seven games.
• Since Phil Bennett took over as defensive coordinator, Baylor is 10-0 when forcing two or more turnovers.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• QB €ˆNick Florence eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the third time in his career, throwing for 312 yards.
• Florence has surpassed 300 yards in the third quarter of each of the last two games.
• Florence's 60-yard rush in the fourth quarter was Baylor's longest play from scrimmage since Tevin Reese's 78-yard run in the third quarter of the 2011 Valero Alamo.
• Florence added a career-high 80 rushing yards to account for 392 yards of offense.
• K Aaron Jones' 33-yard field goal in the first quarter made him the all-time scoring leader in program history, passing Alfred Anderson's career total of 220 points.
• A. €ˆJones made two field goals and six extra points to bring his program-leading career total to 230 points.
• RB Jarred Salubi notched 83 rushing yards to surpass the 1,000-yard plateau for his career at 1,018.
• IR Tevin Reese made two first-quarter catches to become the 12th player in program history with 100 career receptions.
• Reese improved his reception streak to 25 consecutive games with at least one catch, the 10th-longest active streak nationally.
• Reese moved into 12th all-time at Baylor in career receptions with 103 and into 12th all-time with 1,437 plus today receiving yards.
• WR €ˆTerrance Williams 22-yard TD catch in the second quarter put him over 100 yards on the day (totaled 131), marking his seventh-career 100-yard game.
• Williams caught two touchdown passes to move into a tie for fourth all-tme at Baylor with 17 in his career.
• Williams moved into a tied for ninth all-time at Baylor with 118 career receptions.
• Williams' 131 yards moved him over 3,000 all-purpose yards for his career, with his new total of 3,124 moving him into sixth all-time at Baylor past Jay Finley's 3,076.
• RB €ˆLache Seastrunk scored his first-career touchdown, a 15-yard rush on his first touch of the game.
• RB €ˆGlasco Martin scored a rushing touchdown for the second consecutive game with his five-yard run in the fourth quarter.
• TE €ˆJordan Najvar caught a TD €ˆpass for the second consecutive game. Both of his catches this season have gone for touchdowns.
• WR Lanear Sampson moved into eighth all-time at Baylor with 123 career receptions and into 14th all-time with 1,368 career receiving yards.

• Hager notched a game-high 10 tackles (eight solo), his second straight double-digit tackles game.
• CB Demetri Goodson recorded his first-career interception in the fourth quarter, and returned it 14 yards to the SHSU €ˆ15 to set up a BU €ˆtouchdown.
