14 Student-Athletes Receive Degrees

WACO, Texas - In graduation ceremonies held at the Ferrell Center on Saturday, August 17, 14 Baylor student-athletes from eight sports earned their bachelor's (13) or master's degree (1). All-told, 1,375 student-athletes have earned their bachelor's degree since Baylor joined the Big 12 Conference in 1996.

The summer graduating class of 12 receiving bachelor's degrees completes the 2012-13 Baylor academic year. A group of 23 student-athletes graduated during fall commencement exercises in December while 82 walked across the stage in May ceremonies. In total, 118 student-athletes received their bachelor's degree during the 2012-13 academic year.

"We are very proud of our student-athletes who excelled both academically and athletically at Baylor," said Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. "These student-athletes are a part of the most successful era in Baylor Athletics history and graduate with our best wishes for continued success and happiness."

Men's Track (1): Zwede Hewitt+
Women's Track (1): Arryss Mills
Volleyball (1): Zoe Adom
