Oct. 10, 2014 NORMAN, Okla. - On a soggy night at John Crain Field, two lengthy lightning delays forced the Baylor-Oklahoma soccer match to be canceled at halftime. The teams and Big 12 Conference are working to try to schedule a makeup date.
The game had a 51-minute lightning delay before action even began. Then another lightning delay went into effect right after the first half buzzer sounded. The halftime delay was at nearly two hours before the game was called. If a makeup game is played, the match will start completely over.
Baylor finishes its first Big 12 road weekend at Oklahoma State on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
