The Baylor men's golf team is in second place after shooting 16-over-par 726 over 36 holes on Monday at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate. The Bears shot 1-over 356 to tie for the lead in the first round and recorded a 15-over 370 in the second round.

Baylor is two strokes back of tournament leader Oklahoma State (+14) headed into Tuesday's final round. Baylor leads third place Oklahoma (+20) by four strokes and fourth place New Mexico (+26) by 10 strokes. Houston rounds out the top five at 28-over par.

Three Baylor players finished the day among the top 15 individuals. Senior Mikkel Bjerch-Andresen fired a tournament-best first round of 5-under par 66, and he maintained the lead by shooting 1-under in the second round to finish at 6-under 136, three strokes ahead of the next closest player in the field.

Andreas Gjesteby shot even-par 71 in both rounds to finish the day in a tie for fifth place, and Kyle Jones shot even-par in the second round to move up 13 spots into a tie for 11th place at 3-over 145.

Frederik Andersen is in a tie for 32nd place at 9-over headed into the final round after shooting 1-over 72 in the first round and 8-over 79 in the second. Filippo Zucchetti is one stroke behind Andersen in a tie for 43rd place at 10-over par, and Andrew Hans is in 66th place at 15-over 157.

? Bjerch-Andresen had a two-shot lead after the first round and extended his lead to three shots through 36 holes.
? Baylor leads the field in par-3 scoring averaging 3.17 on the day.
? Bjerch-Andresen leads the field in par-3 and par-4 scoring, averaging 2.75 and 3.95, respectively.
? Andersen is tied for second in par-3 scoring, averaging 3.00 for the day.
? Gjesteby had 28 pars in 36 holes, which were the most made by any player in the 72-player field.
? Bjerch-Anderson had 12 birdies in two rounds, three more than any other player in the field.
