Oct. 28, 2014 WACO, Texas - Baylor's convincing wins over No. 7 TCU Friday and No. 1 Georgia Saturday gave the Bears the No. 1 ranking in Tuesday's NCEA rankings.
Baylor (6-0) moved up from the No. 3 spot leapfrogging both South Carolina and Georgia. Now, two Big 12 teams rank atop the NCEA rankings with Kansas State checking in at No. 2 and South Carolina and Auburn of the SEC checking in at three and four, respectively.
Georgia's loss dropped the Bulldogs to No. 5. Oklahoma State received a No. 7 ranking and TCU rounds out the four-team Big 12 equestrian slate at No. 8.
The last time the Bears were ranked No. 1 was Nov. 18, 2013, and they held that position until Nov. 25.
Baylor resumes competition Nov. 15 when it plays host to Kansas State at 10 a.m.
