WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis players
Kiah Generette and Eliza Long each closed out the HEB/Under Armour Fall Invite with singles wins on Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center.
The 37th-ranked Generette won her third straight match by downing Palina Dubavets from TCU in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1. The Baylor junior improved her record to 3-1 on the season after two wins Saturday over Ferny Paz and Grainne O'Neill of Ohio State.
Long earned her first win of the weekend as she topped Alexis Pereira, also from TCU, in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (6).
To begin the day, Generette and Long dropped an 8-5 decision to Ohio State's Paz and O'Neill. Generette and Long finished the weekend 0-3 in doubles.

Ema Burgic will be in action in Rockhill, S.C., for the Rock Hill Rocks Open, an ITF $25,000 event on Monday. The BU senior will face Sophie Chang (United States) at 8 a.m. CT in the second round of the 64-person qualifying draw. Burgic earned a bye in the first round.
