"It has been too long. I am really proud of these girls. It hasn't been just a one-year process to get us back to where we had been for so many years. It is a great group of girls. I can't say enough about the quality young ladies on this team. They are a great team and that had to be one of our best performances at the regional meet. Rachel ran a very smart race. She did what she needed to do. Maggie ran well and it was great for her in front of a home crowd. Our goal wasn't just to get back to nationals, but it was to get there and do something when we were there." - head coach Todd Harbour on the women's team

"I can't fault my guys' effort. They ran really tough and it kind of just got away from them at the end. Eric (Anderson) ran a really solid race. Kyle (Scanlan) and Matt (Galvin) got tangled up at the beginning, which is not a great way to start a 10K race. We are set up pretty well going into next year. I am going to need some guys to put around Eric. We had some guys show some marked improvement, including Jordan West, who wasn't even on this trip last year. We will definitely miss our seniors, because they have done a lot to lead this team." - assistant coach Jon Capron on the men's team
