WACO, Texas - The Baylor softball team added two games against McNeese State April 30, a doubleheader, to be played beginning at 5 p.m. at BU’s Getterman Stadium. In addition, the Baylor IMG Sports Network will carry five Big 12 Conference games on the radio beginning with Sunday’s matchup with Texas at 6 p.m.
Baylor’s doubleheader with Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Miss. Feb. 26 was canceled due to inclement weather paving the way for the pick-up games with McNeese State.
The Lady Bears are ranked No. 12 in the nation by both the USA Softball and NFCA polls, and the team is 22-4 through the first 26 games. BU will take on Texas State Tuesday at 6 p.m. before opening Big 12 Conference play Saturday with Texas at 11 a.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.
Sunday’s game with Texas at 6 p.m. will be broadcast on ESPNU and will also air on 1660 AM ESPN locally.
The Baylor IMG Sports Network will also carry Baylor’s games vs. OU April 12-13 along with an April 27 game vs. Kansas on 101.3 FM. Baylor’s final regular season game of the year will be in Austin May 11 at the Longhorns, and that game will be carried on 1660 AM.
