Women's Tennis' Long Picks Up First Collegiate Win

MIAMI, Fla. - Baylor women's tennis freshman Eliza Long won the first match of her collegiate career with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Miami's Judith Bohnenkamp on Saturday at the Miami Invite.
MIAMI, Fla. - Baylor women's tennis freshman Eliza Long won the first match of her collegiate career with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Miami's Judith Bohnenkamp on Saturday at the Miami Invite.
The match was started on Friday, but with Long leading 4-1 in the first set the contest had to be postponed until Saturday morning due to rain.
The delay didn't slow down Long as she improved to 1-2 on the season. The rest of Saturday's matches were cancelled due to rain.
Long is slated to play again on Sunday at the Miami Invite at 8 a.m. CT.
