LAS VEGAS, N.V. - Baylor women's tennis senior Ema Burgic notched her third victory in three days and qualified for the singles main draw at the Red Rock Open by claiming a 6-2, 7-6(4) triumph over Germany's Tatjana Maria on Tuesday.
Since the event is an ITF $50,000 Pro Circuit event, the win does not count towards collegiate stats, but Burgic is now one of four players that has earned a spot in the main draw from the 32-person qualifying draw.

• Burgic has beaten Jacqueline Cako (No. 514 in WTA), Hayley Carter, who is No. 3 in the ITA) and Maria (No. 298 in WTA) over the past three days.
