WACO, Texas - Baylor football had seven players make the Associated Press (AP) All-Big 12 team, including five first-team selections, the organization announced Wednesday. It marks the 12th straight season with multiple AP All-Big 12 choices for Baylor and the fifth consecutive year with at least four.

Among BU's first-team offensive selections was Biletnikoff Award winning and unanimous All-American receiver Corey Coleman. One of three unanimous honorees on the entire team, Coleman earned the AP accolade for the second straight year. The junior started all 12 games in 2015, while recording 74 catches for 1,363 yards. Coleman leads the country in touchdown receptions (20) and is third in receiving yards per game (113.6).

Meanwhile, Outland-trophy finalist and unanimous All-American Spencer Drango was recognized by the AP for a third-straight year. He led all BU blockers with a 90.3 percent coaches grade and 48 knockdowns as a starter in all 12 games in an offense that leads the country in points (48.0) and yards (604.6) per game. Drango has helped Baylor's rushing attack rank fourth in the country with 300.2 yards per contest. He is also a key component in helping the Bears give up only 1.25 sacks per game, which ranks 19th-best nationally and leads the Big 12.

Baylor's other offensive first-teamer was guard Jarell Broxton. He partnered with Drango to give the Bears one of the most experienced offensive lines in the country. Broxton started in all 12 games for BU as the offensive line unit powered the league's top rushing offense and was named a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award. He was also tied for the team lead with 48 knockdowns.

The Bears' first-team defensive choices were tackle Andrew Billings and cornerback Xavien Howard. Billings was recognized for the second-straight year, after starting in 11 games. He leads the Bears with 15 tackles for loss, including a team-best 5.5 sacks. He has 38 tackles with 31 of those being solo stops. Billings' 1.27 TFL per game ranks fourth in the Big 12 and 34th in the country. He was a major reason for BU boasting the conference's second-best rush defense (156.3 ypg).

Howard, a first-time selection, tallied 37 tackles, five interceptions, nine pass breakups, one tackle for loss and one fumble recovery in starting all 12 games. The junior's five INTs were a team-best and were tied for second-most in the Big 12. Howard's 1.17 passes defended per game were third-best in the league and 31st in the country.

Baylor's second-team offensive honorees were running back Shock Linwood and center Kyle Fuller. Linwood received the accolade for the second time, after tallying 1,329 yards and 10 touchdowns on 196 rushes, while starting all 12 games for BU. He averaged 110.8 yards rushing per game, which were fourth most in the league and his 6.78 yards per carry were tops in the Big 12 and seventh nationally.

Fuller teamed with Drango and Broxton on BU's dominant offensive line. He was third on the squad with an 88.7 percent coaches grade
