THOUGHTS ON TODAY'S SCRIMMAGE:
"Healthy, you know that's really all we're about right now. We're basically just trying to make sure we finish this thing and look at the big picture, and the big picture for us is getting ready for Friday night at SMU."

ON PERFORMANCE OF WIDE RECEIVERS:
"We're still a work in progress without question, offensively. That's what we knew coming in, and we're still in that situation. That's the way it's going to be for a while, so we'll continue to get better there. I thought defensively we played extremely well today, bouncing around, playing with a lot of energy and effort and precision. We just have got to keep improving on both sides of the ball. Like I said, our focus now is getting ready for SMU."

ON HAVING SO MANY IMPRESSIVE YOUNG ATHLETES:
"You know there're a lot of young guys that are really playing well, so I'd hate to single one or two out, but our effort, attitude and energy have really been top of the line all the way through the spring with everybody."

ON REMAINING SPRING PRACTICES:
"I'm just eager to have a couple of days to improve - that's the main thing - with two more times on the field, chances to improve your trade a little bit, get better at what we are trying to do and understand a little bit more about personnel placement. That's the main thing offensively, and defensively it's making sure we've got the right people in the right spots."

ON THE TEAM'S DEPTH:
"Depth is a lot better. It's critical, especially in Big 12 play, because it's hard to finish with who you start with all the way through. So, we've just got to make sure that everybody we put on the field, we feel like is Big 12 Championship caliber."
