2015 NCEA Bracket

WACO, Texas - The Baylor Equestrian team will be the No. 2 seed in the NCEA National Championship to be held at the Extraco Event Center in Waco on April 16-18.

The Bears (13-4) received a bye for the first round and will play the winner of No. 7 TCU vs. No. 10 Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals. Baylor beat TCU three times this season, including the first round of the Big 12 Championship, and went 1-1 against Oklahoma State.

With Kansas State at No. 9, all four Big 12 teams are seeded in the top ten. Georgia took the top seed, South Carolina is seeded third and Texas A&M fourth, which gives all four teams first-round byes.

Auburn (5) will face (12) UT Martin, SMU (8) squares off against K-State, and Fresno State (6) faces New Mexico State in the opening round.

The Bears are coming off a Big 12 championship, which BU took home Saturday in Fort Worth. The Bears have one NCEA title in hunter seat in 2012. However, the format changed beginning in 2014, and there is only one champion declared, combining the hunter seat and western discipline scores.
