THE RUNDOWN
The Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling team (8-0) kept the winning streak alive on the road with wins over Fairmont State Falcons and Alderson Broaddus Battlers Friday.
The Bears controlled the meet early on in the Compulsory Event with 38.70, followed by Alderson Broaddus' 38.10 then Fairmont State's 37.90. The lead was extended more in the Acro Event to 68.30, with the Battlers close behind at 67.60 and the Falcons at 67.10. BU showed strong in the Pyramid Event with a score of 98.15, followed by Alderson Broaddus at 97.15 and Fairmont State at 96.40 going into the half.
After the break, the Bears soared in the Toss Event with a 126.80 while the Battlers remained second with 124.75 and the Falcons in third with 123.20. BU refused to falter, taking the Tumbling Event 184.60-176.55-174.48.
In the final event of the tri meet, the Team Routine, Baylor left it all on the mat with 284.240. Alderson Broaddus finished second with 270.320 followed by Fairmont State with 266.630.
HIGHLIGHTS
? The team of Allie Williams, Sydney Evans, Kaelyn Cowan and Alexa Crumpton received a 9.90 competing with each other for the first time in heat 1 of the Acro Event.
? The Acro Event heat 3 team of Danielle Hardman, Ally Cheatham, Courtney Pate and Bresha Pierce earned a perfect 10.
? Allie Williams, Shayla Moore, Kiara Nowlin, Miranda Girouard, Lauren Sturm, Alexa Crumpton and Courtney Pate of the Pyramid Event's heat 2 team scored a 10.
? Sophomore Kiara Nowlin received a perfect 10 for her 6 Element Pass in the Tumbling Event.
STAT OF THE DAY
The Bears swept all six events for the first time this season.

"I'm very proud of how this team performed tonight. We just keep moving forward and making progress this season. Although this wasn't our highest score overall, we made some improvements tonight," head coach Felecia Mulkey said. "We are in a great place heading into our final meet. We will take this week to continue to clean things up before we meet up with Oregon again."
WHAT'S NEXT
The Bears return home to the Ferrell Center for the last meet of the season Sunday, April 12. They will take on the Oregon Ducks at 2 p.m. (CT) and will honor the seven seniors for Senior Day.
