Single-Game Football Tickets On-Sale Aug. 11th

WACO, Texas - A limited number of single-game tickets for Baylor football's second season at McLane Stadium will go on sale Aug. 11 at 12:01 a.m., school officials announced today. The back-to-back Big 12 champion Bears, ranked fourth in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll, open their six-game 2015 home slate Sept. 12 against Lamar in a game which will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net at 6:30 p.m.

The single-game tickets will go on sale online only to the general public at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at www.baylorbears.com/tickets/. Any remaining tickets will be available at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 12, at www.BaylorBears.com/tickets/, in person at the Baylor Athletics Ticket Office at the Ferrell Center or by phone at 254-710-1000.

Single-game reserved ticket prices are $45 for Lamar (Sept. 12) and Rice (Sept. 26), $65 for West Virginia and $75 for Iowa State (Oct. 24, Homecoming). Berm seating is priced at $35 for all games except the Dec. 5 regular-season finale vs. Texas, which is priced at $50, and is the only option available for the games against OU and UT. The berm seating is located on the grassy area in front of the video board and has its own entrance/exit, concessions and restroom facilities. Fans with berm tickets will not have access to the stadium area.

A record 28,384 public season tickets were sold to Baylor fans in 2015, marking the 11th time in the last 12 years season sales for Baylor football games have increased. The Bears' 2015 season ticket record does not include more than 9,000 seats reserved for Baylor students at McLane Stadium. Head coach Art Briles enters his eighth season in Waco and his 2015 Baylor squad is a consensus Top 10 pre-season selection by various national publications. The Bears return 17 starters from last year's Big 12 championship team that won a school-record 11 games for the second straight season and played in a bowl game for a program-record fifth straight season with its Goodyear Cotton Bowl appearance.
