Baylor dominated the game in nearly all facets but it didn't pay off until the second half. In the 49th minute, McKenna Martin found the back of the net from 20 yards out after a pass from Sarah King had her one-on-one with the goalie after fighting through a pair of defenders.

QUOTE OF THE GAME
"Air Force is a quality team that played a great, hard-fought match. We had to earn everything. I'm proud of the girls for staying the course, even though we didn't score in the first half when we had some really good chances, and it paid off. We made a couple of minor adjustments at half, but the girls pushed through and then weathered the storm at the end. I thought we locked it down pretty well tonight, very happy with the effort and result." - Head Coach Paul Jobson
