#SignBU Central | Live Webstream
WACO, Texas - Fresh off a victory in the Russell Athletic Bowl, Baylor football will add new student-athletes to the BU family during Wednesday's National Signing Day. BaylorBears.com will have full coverage of the event, highlighted by "Inside #SignBU," a free live web stream.
The Voice of the Bears, John Morris, and KWTX's Madison Adams will anchor the coverage starting at 7 a.m. CT from the football offices inside the Simpson Athletics and Academic Center. As National Letters of Intent are confirmed, Baylor coaches will join "Inside #SignBU" to breakdown the recruiting class. The stream will also include live look-ins to the fax machine room as the football staff receives NLIs from around the country. Current players and some of BU's mid-year enrollees are slated to join the stream as well.
Beyond the web show, BaylorBears.com will have a full web site dedicated to #SignBU with signee bios, player profile cards and video highlights as each recruit becomes official.
"Inside #SignBU" will close with head coach Art Briles' live press conference. It will be the only place to hear directly from Briles during the day.
At 1 p.m. CT, FOX Sports Southwest will carry a one-hour live special, "Inside Baylor Sports: Football Signing Day Special presented by Nissan", recapping the day's events, which will also be hosted by Morris and Adams.
Baylor Athletics' social media platforms will also provide full coverage of the day. On Twitter, follow @BUFootball for updates, like Baylor Athletics on Facebook to be part of the day's conversation and follow @BUFootball on Instagram and Snapchat for personalized profile graphics for each signee. Fans can also be part of the live web stream by submitting questions for BU players and coaches by using the hashtag: #SignBU.
For the first time, separate live streams will be offered on Periscope by @BUFootball and on Facebook by Baylor Athletics. These streams will feature behind-the-scenes access as well as players and coaches answering fan questions.
Following the live coverage, BaylorBears.com will have a complete recap of the day with a behind-the-scenes look at the event and a condensed version of the live web stream.
