April 14, 2016 STILLWATER, Okla. - No. 19 Baylor softball (33-11, 5-3 Big 12) treks north to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State Cowgirls (21-17, 3-4 Big 12) starting Friday afternoon at Cowgirls Softball Stadium.
Entering the weekend series, Oklahoma State holds a slim 31-26 advantage in the all-time series, including a 17-9 mark in Stillwater.
Lifted by 23 strikeouts from Heather Stearns, the Lady Bears took the first two games of the 2015 series.
In game three, BU stranded nine batters, but were unable to plate a run, falling 1-0 to the Cowgirls to narrowly miss out on the sweep.
The pitching staff, led by Stearns, worked through the 21.0 innings against OSU, allowing just one run and striking out a total of 25 Cowgirl batters.
