BEARS IN THE NFL

WACO, Texas - Terrance Williams (Dallas), Matt Bryant (Atlanta), and Jon Weeks (Houston) will all be in action this weekend in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.

Williams and the Cowboys earned the NFC's No. 1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a 13-3 regular season record and will open up the postseason hosting the Green Bay Packers Sunday at 3:40 p.m. CT on FOX. Williams had 44 catches for 594 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season for the Cowboys.

Bryant and Atlanta are also kicking off their postseason this weekend after securing the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye with an 11-5 record. The Falcons will host the Seattle Seahawks Saturday at 3:35 p.m. CT on FOX. Bryant had another stellar regular season, connecting on 34-of-37 field goals (91.9 %, long of 59) and was 56-of-57 (98.2%) on extra points.

Weeks' Texans are coming off a 27-14 victory over Oakland on wild card weekend and will take on the New England Patriots Saturday in Foxborough, Mass. The game kicks off at 7:15 p.m. CT on CBS. Weeks and Houston won the AFC South division championship with a 9-7 regular season record.

Also on wild card weekend, Xavien Howard had three tackles and an interception, but his Miami Dolphins fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-12.

Demetri Goodson of the Green Bay Packers is on the injured reserve and will not be playing the rest of this season. Former Bears featured on playoff practice squads are Rico Gathers (Dallas), Antwan Goodley (Green Bay), and Blake Muir (Atlanta).
