STORY LINES
- The Bears leave the state of Texas for the final time in 2017 with a road trip to Kansas. Baylor has won seven straight over the Jayhawks - including three consecutive trips to Lawrence.
- Seven Baylor players have started all eight games in 2017: Sam Tecklenburg, Blake Blackmar, Pat Lawrence, Denzel Mims, Ira Lewis, Taylor Young and Clay Johnston.
- Harrison Hand ranks second in the Big 12 with eight PBUs and second among all freshmen with 37 tackles.
- Sophomore kicker Connor Martin ranks second in the Big 12 with 14 made field goals and ranks second in accuracy (87.5%). He has converted 12-of-14 attempts over the last five games.
- Baylor has had 17 true freshmen appear in a game in 2017, the fourth-largest total nationally.
- Junior Greg Roberts is the only player in the Big 12 and one of 15 nationally to block two kicks in 2017.
