
EQ Hosts 2017 Big 12 EQ Championship

WACO, Texas - Baylor equestrian (10-4, 3-1 Big 12) is prepped and ready to host the 2017 Big 12 Equestrian Championship, running March 24-25 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
The Bears claimed the No. 1 seed for the third-straight year, followed by Oklahoma State (8-2, 3-1 Big 12) with the No. 2 seed and TCU (3-9, 0-4 Big 12) at No. 3.
The round-robin format split over two days kicks off with Baylor and TCU in round one, starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 24. Round two pits Oklahoma State versus TCU, with the first half of the round being completed approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of round one.
The Cowgirls and Horned Frogs will finish round two on Saturday, March 25, beginning at 10 a.m.
The Championship will conclude with a showdown between top-seeded Baylor and the 2016 Big 12 champion Oklahoma State in round three, with the winner and conference champion decided by the top record after the pool play is completed.
The Bears are looking for the program's third conference title, overall, and the second when hosting. BU last took home the trophy in 2015 when TCU hosted, with Baylor's last and only title in Waco coming back in 2010.
