
Kraus Selected to Big 12 All-Tournament Team

IRVING, Texas - Freshman Livia Kraus represented the Baylor women's tennis program on the 2018 Big 12 Women's Tennis All-Tournament Team, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Nieder-Olm, Germany, native defeated her opponent at No. 5 singles in the quarterfinal match against 18th-ranked Kansas and the semifinal match against sixth-ranked Texas. Kraus registered a dominant, 6-1, 6-0, win over Jayhawk Tatiana Nikolaeva, and followed it up with another two-set, 6-3, 6-0, win against Longhorn Marta Perez-Mur.
Kraus has earned a team-high 24 singles victories this year, including 17 in dual match play. She is currently riding an eight-match win streak.
The Bears will watch the NCAA Selection Show at their watch party on Tuesday, May 1 at the Stone Room inside the Ferrell Center. The event is free and open to the public. Baylor has made 13-straight NCAA appearances and 20 overall, including 16 under the direction of head coach Joey Scrivano.
