
Bravo Takes Second At USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Championships

The rising senior placed second in power tumbling.
WACO, Texas – Rising acrobatics and tumbling senior Hope Bravo earned second place in tumbling at the 2018 USA Gymnastics Championships held last week at the Greensboro Coliseum and Special Events Center in Greensboro, N.C.
The Dallas, Texas, native took second place with a total score of 131.600 and the finish gave Bravo a spot on the USA Trampoline and Tumbling National Team for the second-straight season.
On Bravo's second place finish, acrobatics and tumbling head coach Felecia Mulkey said, "I am thrilled with Hope's second place finish at the power tumbling championships, leading to her placement on the senior national team for the second year in a row. She has worked so hard this past year to overcome an injury and she looked so strong and impressive out there last week. I am excited for what is in store for her this upcoming season!"
Bravo competed for the U.S. in the 2017 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Bulgaria last fall, finishing second among her American teammates and 19thoverall.
In 2017-18 as a junior, Bravo was a member of the Baylor squad that won its fourth-straight NCATA national championship.
