Team USA finished with a time of 3:01.72.
WACO, Texas – Wil London ran the anchor leg as the United States took the silver medal in the men's 4x400-meter relay Saturday afternoon at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
London gave the United States the lead over Trinidad and Tobago as he passed Machel Cedenio on the final turn and held the lead until Colombia took home the gold with a late surge by 400-meter gold medalist Anthony José Zambrano to clock in 3:01.41. London and Team USA finished with a time of 3:01.72 to get the silver medal, while Trinidad and Tobago earned the bronze with a time of 3:02.25.
In the women's 5,000 meters, former Baylor standout Lauren (Hagans) Paquette finished in sixth place with a time of 15:45.93.
