THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Joey Scrivano on heading into the final day …
"We had a lot of highly contested matches, and I'm really proud of the ladies though. They found a way to get through, and we really had a good day. In particular, Mel and Ali did a good job of getting through two matches and on to the finals today [in doubles]. Angie [Shakhraichuk] has been on a roll, she has been playing incredibly well, focused and present. And, Kristina [Sorokolet] has got a lot of experience and she battled back today from a set down and found a way to win. But, the entire team is doing great. We're on a really good, positive trajectory and things are going well.
WHAT'S NEXT
The doubles championship begins at 10 a.m. followed by the singles flights championships and consolation bracket titles. The event will conclude the fall season for Baylor who was able to play in four events despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
