WT Readies for Red & Blue Challenge

WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis heads north on I-35 to take part in SMU's Red & Blue Challenge this weekend. Olivia Malm, Brooke Thompson, Ana Carmen Zamburek and Hannah Pinto will be competing for the Bears as the tournament is scheduled to take place Friday through Sunday.

Thompson and Malm are in the Peruna draw singles bracket. Thompson will play Lauren Fulgenzi from Incarnate Word and Malm will face Jaeun Lee from UCA. Both matches will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Zamburek will also play at 11 a.m. on Friday as she will face Julia Deming of Kansas in the Red draw.

Pinto is in the Eric Dickerson draw and will face Paulina Engback of UCA at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

In doubles action, Pinto and Thompson will take on UTSA's Alexandra Weir and Aleksandra Zlatarova at 9 a.m. on Friday as they are in the Turpin draw. At the same time, Malm and Zamburek pair up to take on KSU's Karine-Marion Job and Anna Turco in the Styslinger draw.
