Keefer leads team at 2-over 144, tied for 24th individually

AUSTIN, Texas – Baylor men's golf is in 11th place after shooting 20-over-par 588 across two rounds on Monday in the George Hannon Invitational at UT Golf Club.
The No. 31-ranked Bears (+20) are in front of New Mexico State (+36) and UT Arlington (+57). Baylor trails No. 2 Oklahoma (-13), No. 12 Texas (-11), No. 11 Oklahoma State (-5), No. 19 Texas Tech (E), No. 27 New Mexico (+5), No. 46 TCU (+8), West Virginia (+14), Kansas State (+14), No. 50 Arkansas-Little Rock (+18) and Florida Atlantic (+18).
Johnny Keefer leads the Bears at 2-over-par 144, tied for 24th place individually. He shot 3-over 74 in the first round on Monday morning and carded 1-under 70 in the afternoon for the Bears' only below-par round of the day. Cooper Dossey is tied for 33rd place after rounds of 1-over 72 and 3-over 74, while Ryan Grider is tied for 46th place at 6-over 148 with rounds of 4-over 75 and 2-over 73. Travis McInroe recorded the Bears' final counting scores with a 3-over 74 in the morning and 5-over 76 in the afternoon to sit tied for 58th place at 8-over 150.
Mark Reppe is tied for 64th place at 11-over 153 with rounds of 5-over 76 and 6-over 77. Trey Bosco and Tyler Isenhart are competing as individuals, with Bosco tied for 38th place at 5-over 147 and Isenhart in 70th place at 13-over 155. Bosco shot 4-over 75 in the first round and 1-over 72 in the afternoon, while Isenhart shot 9-over 80 and 4-over 75.

2-under – Ryan Grider bounced back from a slow start that had him sitting at 6-over through five holes by shooting 2-under over the remaining 31 holes on Monday. He had a team-high 7 birdies and is tied for second in the field in par-5 scoring at 4-under 4.33.

Baylor is paired with Arkansas-Little Rock and New Mexico State for Tuesday's final round. The Bears will tee off from No. 10 at 8:30 a.m. CT.
